Amazon Music link: open it directly in the Amazon Music app

An Amazon Music link opens in the app if it goes through Qlynk. Albums, artists and playlists on music.amazon.com, .fr, .de and .co.uk are recognized; on iPhone the installed app takes the link, and on Android an opening link is prepared.

Why does a Amazon Music link open in the browser?

Amazon Music addresses point to music.amazon.com or its equivalents and often open in the browser, where the visitor has to sign in to their Amazon account again. Qlynk recognizes album, artist and playlist addresses (public or user playlists) and prepares the opening in the Amazon Music app.

How to do it with Qlynk

  1. Copy the link to the album, artist or playlist from Amazon Music.
  2. Paste it into Qlynk. With Pro, you can choose the end of the link.
  3. Send the short link: the Amazon Music app opens on that content when it is installed.

On iPhone, Qlynk sends the original Amazon Music address: iOS opens the app if it’s installed, with no error message. On Android, the link opens the app, or the web page if the app isn’t installed. On a computer, the page opens as usual.

When is it useful?

  • Announcing your album to your followers, with a link that leads to the right page
  • Sharing a wedding or event playlist with the guests
  • Putting a QR code on a record or a concert program
  • Putting your artist page in the bio of a social network
