Deep links, made simple

Deep links: open any link in the app, not the browser

A Qlynk short link to one of 50 supported apps opens straight in that app on a phone, already logged in, instead of in the browser. There is nothing to set up: Qlynk recognizes the address when you create the link, and it works on the Free plan.

What is a deep link?

A deep link opens a specific piece of content inside a mobile app: an Instagram profile, a YouTube video, a WhatsApp chat, an Amazon product. Without one, the same link opens in the phone’s browser, where people are usually not logged in, so they have to sign in or find the content again before they can follow, subscribe or buy.

How do deep links work on iPhone and Android?

On iPhone, apps declare “universal links”: when the original https address reaches iOS, it opens the app if it’s installed. On Android, an intent link names the app to open and falls back to the web page if the app is missing. Qlynk picks the right method for each phone automatically, with no SDK and no code on your side, and redirects normally on a computer.
