Why does a AliExpress link open in the browser?
AliExpress addresses mix a language code (fr.aliexpress.com), an item number and long tracking parameters. Opened from a message, they often land on the mobile site, far from the app and its coupons. Qlynk recognizes the /item/ format followed by the number and prepares it to open in the AliExpress app.
How to do it with Qlynk
- Copy the product address from AliExpress.
- Paste it into Qlynk. With Pro, choose the end of the link.
- Share the short link: the app opens on the product page when it is installed.
On iPhone, Qlynk sends the original AliExpress address: iOS opens the app if it’s installed, with no error message. On Android, the link opens the app, or the web page if the app isn’t installed. On a computer, the page opens as usual.
When is it useful?
- Sharing a find with your customers without sending an endless address
- Putting one specific product in a comparison sheet
- Showing a QR code to an item on a display or presentation
- Replacing a bulky affiliate link with a short, readable address
Which AliExpress links open the app?
| Link type | Example address |
|---|---|
| Product | https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001234567890.html |
Paste any of these addresses into Qlynk: the short link you get will open AliExpress on phones.
