Etsy link: open a listing or shop directly in the app

Qlynk makes an Etsy link open in the app. Listing (/listing/) and shop (/shop/) addresses on etsy.com are recognized, with or without a language code. On iPhone, the installed app takes the link; on Android, Qlynk prepares an app-opening link.

Why does a Etsy link open in the browser?

A maker often shares the address of their Etsy shop on social media, and the buyer opens it in a browser without their favorites or their cart. Qlynk recognizes listing (/listing/) and shop (/shop/) addresses, including those with a language code such as /fr/, and prepares them to open in the Etsy app.

How to do it with Qlynk

  1. Copy the listing or shop address from Etsy.
  2. Paste it into Qlynk. With Pro, choose the end of the link, such as the name of your workshop.
  3. Share it: Etsy opens in the app for people who have it.

On iPhone, Qlynk sends the original Etsy address: iOS opens the app if it’s installed, with no error message. On Android, the link opens the app, or the web page if the app isn’t installed. On a computer, the page opens as usual.

When is it useful?

  • Putting your shop page in the bio of your social media account
  • Sending the listing for one piece to a customer who is hesitating
  • Printing a QR code on your packaging that leads to the shop
  • Handing out a short, memorable link at craft markets
